The Story Behind Hawkeye

Hawkeye Consulting grew out of something I’ve found myself doing throughout my career: seeing the big picture, figuring out what’s missing, and moving things forward.

My background doesn’t fit neatly into one box. I’ve worked across education, nonprofit leadership, communications and marketing, the arts, events and small business. Along the way, I’ve been the person building the plan, communicating the message, organizing the details, solving the problem—and, often, simply figuring out what needs to happen next.

Over time, I realized that the organizations doing meaningful work don’t always need another full-time employee or a traditional agency. Sometimes they need an experienced person who can step in, see what’s happening from a fresh perspective, bring some clarity to the moving pieces and help get the work done. That’s what Hawkeye Consulting was created to do.

 

The name Hawkeye is personal. The hawk has long represented perspective to me—the ability to rise above the noise, see the whole landscape and recognize the path forward. It also connects me to home, family and the place where many of my own ideas have taken shape.

Because sometimes you don’t need more ideas.
You just need help seeing what to do with the ones you already have.
